In the very early days of the Internet, Beatles fans began to share accounts of “anomalies” they had discovered throughout the Beatles catalog: mistakes, flubs, coincidences, mysteries and other ‘happy little accidents’ that were often the result of the limits of analog technology.

Inspired by websites documenting these anomalies such as What Goes On, I posted a video to YouTube about the ‘hidden F-Bomb’ in Hey Jude. Within months, the video had picked up hundreds of thousands of views.

Sensing demand, an idea was born: to bring these anomalies to life in a medium approachable enough for both casual listeners and diehard Beatles fans alike. 10 years, 250k subscribers, and 30 million views later, You Can’t Unhear This remains an ongoing testament to the studio ingenuity of the most celebrated band of in pop music history.
